Spill direct Absorbent Pillows and Booms
Absorbent pillow and booms are highly absorbent items which can be useful in the cleanup of small or large scales spills and leaks. Pillows are not only useful in supplementing our spills kits, but are also useful to have on standby for the purpose of spill control and spill prevention. Meanwhile the Oil only absorbent booms are excellent for the use of containing and cleaning up larger scale oil and fuel spills in bodies of water such as ponds, lakes and rivers. Which Absorbent Pillow? Absorbent perforated rolls come in three types; General Absorbent Pillows can be used in the absorption of oils, waters based fluids and mild chemicals, Oil Only Absorbent Pillows are designed to absorb only oil and fuels (whilst repelling water) and can also be used to absorb oil off of a water's surface without sinking. Finally there are Chemical Absorbent Pillows which can be used in the absorption of more aggressive or dangerous chemicals. |
